HEART

Heart is the central tenant of caring. It is putting everything you have into what you are doing. (Having) heart is listening with genuine compassion and empathy to another’s needs. In ancient cultures the heart was known as the source for feeling, virtue and intelligence. Today “heart” is relating to somebody almost without thinking. It is standing up and defending someone they have concern for.

WISDOM

Wisdom is often confused with knowledge. Where knowledge is gained from experience, wisdom is using that knowledge to discern what is true and right and lasting. Wisdom includes compassion, an ability to see the larger picture, to put things in a proper perspective and to see things from many points of view. In the abstract, wisdom is the ability to reflect and rise above one’s own perspective.
