we’ve pulled from our DNA. We live by these. They’re kind of like
our secret sauce, and we are happy to share them with you.

GREAT MENTORS…

SHUT UP AND LISTEN!

First, great mentors keep quiet while others are talking. But also, they practice
active listening: They don’t pass judgment. They hold back from interrupting and
providing solutions, and they look someone in the eye when they are talking not at
a phone or computer screen

HAVE ESP

We don’t mean extrasensory perception, though that would be cool.
Actually, we mean extraordinary sensitivity perception it means communicating with empathy.
It’s about paying attention to not only what is being said but also what is not being said,
and understandinga person’s non-verbal cues.

ARE LIKE FARMERS

Think about it. Farmers cultivate their land. They feed their crops
nutrients and water. They patiently withstand the challenges of
weather and time unta, at harvest season they can reap the rewards.
Likewise, great mentors Invest their time and energy in their mentees and
have faith in the other’s personal growth journey. Like any crop, professional
growth takes time and tending to.

ARE ALSO LIKE CLOCKS

Hear us out: Clocks are consistent, trusted, and
are there when you need them. When a mentor is consistent over time,
they build trust and connection with the mentee. Each interaction creates a
defining moment that moves the dial ciaser to the mentee’s success.

HAVE A HEART

suscess of the mentee. They treat others the way
they want to be treated Simply, great mentors follow the Golden Rule.
